1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Explore ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Explore is a card-based knowledge exploration tool that provides AI-powered conversation capabilities. The Service includes:

  • Card-based note-taking and organization
  • AI conversation features (via third-party providers)
  • Document processing and file upload
  • Knowledge Integration and Mindscape features
  • Cloud synchronization (optional)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Explore Beta Access and Paid Beta Plans

During beta, Explore offers paid beta plans based on expected AI usage. Paid beta plans may provide access to built-in AI model usage, document processing, Knowledge Integration, Mindscape, and other beta features. Plans may include different usage allowances based on the selected tier.

If a paid beta plan is purchased as a recurring subscription, it renews automatically until canceled. You may cancel before the next billing date, and access will remain available until the end of the current paid period. If a paid beta plan is purchased as fixed-period access, access lasts for the period shown at checkout. During beta, usage limits and plan features may be adjusted as the quota system is finalized. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Paddle or Afdian.

4.2 BYOK Mode

The free tier provides BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode, allowing you to use your own API keys for AI providers. BYOK usage is subject to your own provider account, billing, and usage limits.

5. Acceptable Use

Explore is intended for learning, research assistance, personal knowledge exploration, and content ideation. The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial, investment, psychological, or other professional advice. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs, and you should independently verify AI-generated outputs before relying on them.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes
  • Attempt to bypass security measures
  • Share your account with others
  • Generate content that violates third-party rights
  • Use the Service for academic dishonesty, including essay-writing services, ghostwriting, homework completion, exam cheating, or submitting AI-generated content as your own work where prohibited
  • Upload or process copyrighted materials, confidential information, or sensitive personal data unless you have the right and authority to do so
  • Generate or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, hateful, or malicious content, including malware or attempts to compromise systems
  • Abuse AI services or exceed reasonable usage limits

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content for providing the Service.

Our Service: The Explore platform, including its design, code, and features, is our intellectual property.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party AI providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that AI responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.
